Signcraft Rangers 4 - 7 Burnham Junior Whites
In this battling last league game, we certainly gave our all to try to be the first team to beat Burnham this season.
We went one down in the first minute but then Aaron equalised after some good pressure from the Rangers.
Burnham went 3-1 up but Casey pulled one back to 3-2 with a great run down the left.
After some good play from both sides, Burnham went 5-2 up. The Rangers would not give up and
really worried Burnham after a terrific strike from David Chambers from all of 20 yards!
When Casey was brought down after a run into the box, we got it back to 5-4 when he calmly slotted the spot kick home.
There was now a full on game but as we chased the equaliser, Burnham secured the points with another two goals.
The whole team were magnificent in this tough performance and kept going right to the end! We are all really proud of the performance and the runners-up spot!
